Research topics
Ricerca (applicata) nel settore agro-forestale riguardante l’utilizzo delle tecniche geomatiche con particolare riferimento a: applicazione del telerilevamento ottico multispettrale e attivo (SAR) da satellite aereo e drone nell’ambito dell’agricoltura e della selvicoltura di precisione; fotogrammetria prossimale, da drone, da aereo e da satellite per la caratterizzazione geometrica delle superfici; posizionamento satellitare GNSS e rilievo topografico; modellazione spaziale e geostatistica in ambiente GIS applicata alla stima e rappresentazione di caratteristiche colturali/produttive/gestionali del comparto agro-forestale; analisi e rappresentazione del territorio a supporto dell’ecologia del paesaggio e della pianificazione territoriale; prototipazione di sistemi basati su dati geografici (ed in particolare su informazioni derivabili da satellite) per l’erogazione di servizi all’utenza da parte di soggetti pubblici (es. controlli in agricoltura, controlli al taglio in bosco, supporto alle politiche fitosanitarie) e privati (es. assicurazioni e comparto produttivo sia agricolo che forestale).
